To get you up and running instantly, we offer a MongoDB replica set as a service and create a new database for each of your projects. This managed database is the default data store. But don't worry! If you want to host your own MongoDB cluster, you are free to do so. Just go to your project's admin dashboard, navigate to Database > Settings and add your database by providing an accessible MongoDB URI along with connection options. Save your settings and switch the active database. From now on, we just proxy the data to and from your database and you are responsible for the reliability and accessibility of your MongoDB cluster. If you need a static IP range to restrict MongoDB access, feel free to ask us in our Slack channel at selfbits-support.herokuapp.com.
